I really enjoyed the things owning you blog article, it came at a fitting time as D. and I decide whether or not to downsize once again in order to save for our future home. I've been very inspired!
I also really liked the post on how the things you own own you. I have really been trying to drill most of those points into my head. The fact that I don't every want all of my laundry done at one time because I don't have enough space for all my clean clothing is a bit of an issue. I have enough room for a functional closet -I should be filling it and then cutting off what I can buy. The "you will never see that money again" note did stick out for me - often it's true. Recoup for resale is a very small percentage and storing and sorting through stuff and making decisions about it is more of a pain in the ass than I want to deal with.
Gah, that map is so neat!
I usually listen to Wait Wait while driving. Potential disaster right there!
