I am going through a heavy nostalgia phase right now, complete with No Doubt's Return of Saturn on repeat. No Doubt (with Garbage and The Distillers) was my first ever concert. Man, I thought Gwen was so super cool when I was a teenager. I still think that young, pink haired, bindi adorned, 1990's Gwen is rather awesome. She's got attitude. She's got an athletic body. She's got quirky style. She's got eyeliner that I wish I could replicate. I've always wanted an excuse to get a pink wig. I may have found this years Halloween costume...

adore her, always. I've been actually re-listening to Tragic Kingdom but of course I have all the cds. and at age 15 I totally rhinestoned up my bra staps like hers,
Gwen used to be so cool! When did she become so... so "normal"?
Hi Chelsea, I'm with you on 90s Gwen. I only knew of her through No Doubts popularity, and I was so stoked to see someone who looked strong and healthy - she wasn't just pussycat sex appeal. Now she looks really gaunt and flippin, i dunno, not relateable anyway. And I saw your comment on my blog about wanting to do a swap. I'm keen if you are, just drop me a line.
i am from fullerton, which is right next to anaheim where she is from. i worked in anaheim at a marie calendars during high school. it was while she was still in no doubt. and her mom came into the restaurant... i thought it was cool when i was 17.
